problem compile crypto++ 5.5.2 in macosx

Daniele autuori
Hi,

I'm Daniel and I have this problem when compile crypto++ 5.5.2 on macbook pro with snow leopard:

c++ -DNDEBUG -g -O2 -march=native -mtune=native -DCRYPTOPP_DISABLE_ASM -pipe -c 3way.cpp
3way.cpp:1: error: bad value (native) for -march= switch
make: *** [3way.o] Error 1

what's the problem?

thanks Daniel

If I recall, GCC prior to 4.6 had a few [small?] issues with -
march=native. Drop -march=native, and try '-m64 and -mtune=core2'.
